Biography

Anna Cher – Iris Muse

Anna Cher has drawn for as long as she can remember. From an early age, she felt that art was both a source of joy and a way to see the world more deeply. As a result, creativity has always been central to her life.

Classical Training and Artistic Evolution

Anna Cher artist trained classically in Eastern Europe. There, she developed her skills within a disciplined academic tradition that focused on precision and technical excellence.

However, over time she felt the need to move beyond strict rules. Instead, she began to explore a more personal and expressive style. Consequently, her artistic journey became one of self-discovery.

Each year brought bolder choices, new experimentation, and a stronger connection to her inner voice.

A Fusion of Abstract and Realism

Anna Cher’s work is a dynamic blend of abstract expression and recognisable form. Her paintings often balance realism with freedom, creating compositions that feel both structured and spontaneous.

She works primarily in acrylic. Because the medium dries quickly, it allows her to preserve the energy and immediacy of each brushstroke.

In addition, she combines fluid paint with textured impasto layers. As a result, her work gains depth, movement, and visual contrast.

Process and Creative Flow

For Anna Cher artist, painting is a deeply therapeutic process.

She often begins working late in the evening. During these quiet hours, she can focus completely and work intuitively. Later, she returns to the piece with fresh eyes to decide when it is complete.

Therefore, each artwork reflects both spontaneity and thoughtful refinement.

Movement and Inspiration

Movement plays a central role in Anna’s work.

She has a strong passion for sports, dance, and figure skating. Consequently, this physical energy is translated into visual rhythm within her paintings.

Her work exists in the balance between structure and spontaneity. It becomes a dance between discipline and freedom, control and playfulness.

Capturing Joy and Freedom

Ultimately, Anna Cher’s art is about capturing what matters most.

Through her expressive style, she explores themes of presence, freedom, and joy. As a result, her paintings feel alive with emotion and energy.

Each piece invites the viewer to pause, connect, and experience a moment of beauty and movement.

What is a Giclée Print? – pronounced ‘zhee-klay’

So, a giclée print is a high quality fine art reproduction. Archival pigment inks are sprayed on to an archival fine art paper or canvas.
Because of this, Jack Duganne coined the term ‘Giclée’, since it’s a French word meaning ‘a spray or a squirt of liquid’. The term ‘giclée print’ is used to describe the giclée printing process. Accordingly, images are created from the high-resolution digital capture of original artwork. Then they are printed using archival quality inks onto archival fine art substrates. Hence, canvas and fine art papers are used to achieve giclée prints with exceptional stability and lightfastness.
