Biography
Craig Everett – Arcadia
Craig Everett was born in 1969 on a council estate in Bradford, Northern England. Growing up during the era of punk rock, skateboards, and Dr. Martens, he developed a strong connection to the vibrant culture that would later influence his artwork.
In the late 1980s, Craig studied print and graphic design, which sparked his passion for painting. He then spent more than twenty years working as a graphic designer while creating watercolour paintings of Bradford’s industrial streets and landscapes in his spare time. As his work gained attention, local galleries began exhibiting his paintings. Furthermore, he released his first print in 1992.
Over the last decade, Craig has immersed himself in the London urban art scene, working under an alias and developing a distinctive contemporary style. As a result, he turned his passion into a full-time professional career.
His artwork has appeared in galleries across the world, including exhibitions in London, Japan, and Los Angeles. Moreover, he has showcased his work alongside some of the most respected names in street and urban art.
Today, Craig Everett combines his many artistic influences into a style that is entirely his own. His paintings feature intricate lines, vibrant colours, and expressive characters that instantly capture the viewer’s attention.
In addition, his celebrated ‘Scallywag and Fairies’ collection showcases his love of colour, movement, and storytelling. Through this series, Craig creates imaginative worlds filled with personality, energy, and humour. Craig Everett – Arcadia is a superb example of this distinctive approach.
