Background

Dotty Earl Was born and grew up on the Wirral, and now lives in a small Yorkshire village. Here her love of painting has continued to grow.
She was attracted to drawing and painting from a young age. Firstly, this led her to study at Wirral Metropolitan Collage. Then she went on to attain a degree in Film and Animation at the University of Humberside.

Computer Games Industry

She then spent many years working as a digital artist/animator in the computer games industry. Subsequently, she moved on to a freelance role. Despite still working in the computer games industry, she illustrated several novels and designed artwork for clothing lines.
During this time Dotty began creating more of the art she’d always wanted to make, and with the hope of making people smile.
