One of the largest fine art galleries in the North of England is proud to announce a series of artist visits this autumn exhibiting local and international global talent.
Limited 2 Art, based in the affluent market town of Bawtry, is to welcome three leading artists in the coming weeks giving collectors and art enthusiasts the chance to meet the artists and view their latest work.
“Our artist visits have always been hugely popular and we are delighted to be able to welcome more artists this autumn to our new flagship gallery in the heart of the town,” said Ruth. “We enjoy supporting artists from across the globe but are particularly delighted to welcome Doncaster’s very own David Smith and his new collection ‘It’s a Dog’s Life.”
David, who was originally a customer of the gallery, will be at the gallery on Saturday 1st October between 1 and 3pm. His new collection of limited edition prints is a follow up to his first collection ‘It’s a Cat’s Life’.
This will be followed by top American artist Chris De Rubeis who has chosen Limited 2 Art as one of only eight galleries for his first UK tour offering a unique opportunity to meet this charismatic star. Having spent years mastering his technique of painting on metal, he has grown to become one of the world’s most successful artists. His unique eye for the unusual and the modern has generated beautiful contemporary artwork that makes a statement as a centre piece in any room. Chris will be exhibiting his new collection ‘Abstract Sensualism’ in person on Saturday 22nd October between 1 and 4pm. And, on Friday 25th November (7 -9pm) and Saturday 26th (12noon – 3pm) Lincoln artist Edward Waite, who specialises in Contemporary Cityscape painting, will visit and will be doing a ‘Live Paint’ demonstration on Saturday where visitors will get to see Edward at work.
“These visits help our customers to enjoy art and gain a wider appreciation of what motivates and inspires these award-winning artists,” said Ruth. “It is a real pleasure to welcome them to our gallery and for our team to be able to help our customers choose pieces of art that they truly love for their homes and businesses.”
Limited 2 Art now occupies the old Bawtry Town Hall in the marketplace of the bustling town.
