Completing her studies in prosthetics and special effects, Brenda joined forces with Hamish and entered the Visual Arts world. Raising their children and creating art work is her absolute passion. Enjoying the different challenges that customised art brings, is what she loves best. Painting, wood working, mosaic work, a bit of sculpting, prop making and being just a general Mr. Maker is what makes her love life, just that much more.
Based in the glorious County of North Yorkshire, Brenda, born in South Africa, is a UK based Mixed media artist who is adventurous in her approach to each piece of art she creates.
Being a professional artist for the last 26 years and having completed many successful commissions from both corporate and domestic clientele, she enjoys working with a range of different art mediums, including resins, oils, acrylics, timber.
Making all the materials she creates with work together is her passion. Creating unique, interesting artworks whilst finding inspiration in her surroundings such as landscapes, seascapes, reflections in nature and really paying attention to all things beautiful.
Painting from her studio at home she continues to bring her perspective of balance and creativity to her canvases.
