Joe Galindo, born in 1994 in Mirfield, West Yorkshire, discovered his artistic talent with a pencil from a young age. After navigating through university and several 9-5 jobs, he eventually decided to harness his creative abilities. He began by painting a diverse range of subjects, from pets and footballers to musicians, and even taking requests from social media to fund his artistic journey. This venture eventually led him to introduce his captivating abstract landscapes into galleries, garnering significant attention.
Journey
However, at the tender age of 24, he felt an undeniable urge for change. Joe Galindo set aside his brushes and embarked on an impulsive journey that led him to leave his hometown and relocate to Vietnam. His travels took him across Asia, eventually landing him in Australia. It was in the vibrant atmosphere of Australia that he rediscovered his passion for painting and started selling his art in bustling cities like Melbourne and Sydney.
Galindo’s artistry was continually fueled by encounters with fellow artists during his overseas adventures, as well as the stunning natural landscapes and wildlife he encountered along the way. In 2022, following a brief sojourn in Sri Lanka for one last taste of Asian life, he returned home with a renewed dedication to his creative purpose.

What sets Galindo’s unique style apart is his innovative approach to applying paint to the canvas. He employs a variety of techniques and mediums, layering them to create depth and contrast.
